all things considered, this week has been rather harrowing in the world, including po little us here in the western hemisphere. alec baldwin captured headlines because he yelled at his eleven year old girl as she missed an appointment to receive his call (they're on opposing coasts and evidently she didn't feel like picking up). i'm always fascinated by the subplanting of one tittilating piece of news with a more banal alternative
I think that Alec Baldwin being in the news as anything other than fodder for Matt Parker and Trey Stone is a travesty. He doesn't belong in the same news reel as Blacksburg or Fallujah. He's an actor; confine him to the gossip rags.
